TFS — fintech lending platform
The brief
TFS came to us close to giving up. Three previous vendors had failed to deliver a working fintech mobile app for loans and insurance. Their users were churning, their compliance officer was nervous, and their runway was tight.
Twelve weeks later we shipped a production app with live application tracking, a rewards-and-referral engine, and full KYC/AML integration. The product launched to 8,500 users in the first month and grew to 42,000 by quarter-end.
The technical challenge was less the mobile UX (which we cracked in three sprints) and more the integration mesh: 11 third-party services for KYC, credit pulls, e-sign, payment rails, and SMS — all with different SLA profiles and failure modes.
